That Cohanaught Maquire in conson of a marriage portion received upon his marriage with Mary, daughter of Philip Magennis did by deeds of marriage setts settle said lands, inter alia, to himself for life, with remr, over to his heirs male.  That Cohanaught and his wife Mary are both dead, and Plt is their only son living of said marriage, and as son and heir to Cohanaught is intitled to the equity of redemption of said lands.  That George Hume by his will or some other way in his life time, devised, settled or conveyed said mortgage to his wife Dorothy Hume & after his death she became intitled to same and did marry John Dennis, Clk. That Dennis by some agreement, and in conson for some small sum of money conveyed said lands to one[     ] Crosier, who thereupon received the profits there of to a much greater value than would have paid the original £100 and interest.  That sd Crosier made his will and devised legacies which included his interest in said mortgage to one Roland Betty who now enjoys said lands and receives the profits there of.  That Plt has often applied to Betty and to Dorothy Hume during her widowhood, and since her marriage to Dennis to come to an account and admit Plt to the redemption of the mortgage, yet they refuse.  That Betty pretend Plt's said father released the equity of redemption of said mortgage or made some other bargain with him of the fee simple of said lands altho the truth is Plt's father was but tenant for life and could not do so .  Prays for writs agst.
