Matthew Stafford, of Dublin, carpenter, shows that Charles Beatty late of City of Dublin, Gent., deceased, held Aughakine Co. Longford, worth £100 a year, and by Fee Farm or lease the lands of Coolure, Co. Westmeath, made him by Thomas Pakenham of Pakenham Hall, Esq., also Corry, otherwise Stewartsbrook and Brownestown, Co. Westmeath. Charles Beatty died on or about 30 May, 1747, intestate, leaving Elizabeth B. his widow, and five children. And Robert B., Pakenham B. & John B. upon the death of the said Charles B. their brother, came to Dublin and entered into his affairs.

Pakenham Beatty of Coolarty Co. Longford, Gent., Anne Beatty & Mary Beatty of same, sprs (?), George Nixon of _____ in the Co. of Cavan, gent. & Elinor Nixon, otherwise Beatty his wife. Isabella Beatty had m. Robert Richard M’Cally and had died. All above children of Robert Beatty of Coolarty, dec. This Robert Beatty had m. Anne Metge, of Navan, Co. Meath, Settlement dated 22 & 23 June 1737. Sd Robert Beatty died 15 Dec. 1754 intestate, leaving Ann his widow & John, Peter, Robert, Pakenham, Martha, Isabella, Anne, Mary & Elinor his children, all under age. John died under 21 soon after his father’s death.

Ralph Brunker and Margaret Brunker, otherwise Anderson otherwise Adams state that Hugh Johnston late of Cornwall, Co. Monaghan, Esquire, deceased, did by lease 12 June 1718 transfer to Samuel Anderson of Cootehill, Co. Cavan, apothecary, two acres called the Island. By articles of marriage dated 1 March, 1754, between the said Samuel Anderson of the 1st part, Foster Anderson, son of the said Samuel of the 2nd part & Allen Adams, Esq. of the 3rd part, in consideration of a marriage to be soon had & solemnized between the said Foster Anderson & Margaret Adams your supplt.. and daughter of the said Allen Adams, Jane, the wife of the said Samuel Anderson mentioned. The articles were registered 24 June 1754. Samuel died about 1756, having made his will. Francis Anderson, one of the daughters of the said Samuel, who afterwards married Arthur Beatty of Scrubby, Co. Cavan. Foster Anderson died 1774, without issue, his will dated 26 Feb. 1771. The said Margaret afterwards married your supplt. Ralph Brunker of Drum, Co. Monaghan, Gent. [Note: Could David Beatty of Armagh (whose sons were Samuel of Cootehill & Forster have m. into this Anderson family?]
