I bequeath to my good friend Ralph Scott, Esq. and my nephew Francis Beatty and their heirs all my estate, real, freehold and personal on trust for the use of the sons of my late brother Edward and George Beatty living at the time of my decease equally. In case my nephew John Edward Beatty should be living at the time of my decease the share apportioned to him shall not be vested in him till he is 20 and allowance to be made for his maintenance and education. To Mrs. Sarah Beatty widow of my brother I give as a mark of my regard £20. To my trustee Ralph Scott £50. To my servants at my decease as Sarah M’Dermott £20, Wm Smyth £10, Mary Wilson £5. I give my watch to my nephew Francis Beatty, I appoint him executor.
