44. Will of James Harkness of Drumroosk in the parish of Ballintemple, Co. Cavan. To my dear wife Elizabeth Harkness a third part of all my goods whatsoever, and a 3rd part of my interest in the lease of the lands of Drumroosk, Drumbrade and Oghill held under(?) Alex. Armstrong to hold to her for her life, said 3rd part of sd lands to be settled for her by Mr. George Nicel, Mr. John McDowel or Thomas Reilly of Loughdawan. To my son William Harkness the other two third parts of my goods & lease. To my sister Jennet Bigger wife to George Bigger 2 cows. To Anne Harkness my natural daughter £10/ To Mary Reily alias Harkness, wife of Philip Reilly, one cow, mare and colt. Should my son William Harkness die under 21 said two thirds parts to Robert Farris of Drumany, John Irwin of Drumsoclogh, Thomas Harkness of Drumhillis, Edmond Beatty of Corr, Elizabeth Woods of Gartiguile equally between them. I appoint John Irwin, Robert Farris and Edmond Beatty aforesaid to be exrs.
