Ellinor Betty & John, James, Thomas, Charles & Ellinor Betty, minors by said Ellinor their next friend; Samuel Camster and Mary his wife, and William Betty, Bridget Betty and Francis Betty, minors by said Mary Camster, their next friend, v. John Irwin. Bill 20 April 1739 [No Answer].
Bill amended by affixing an affidavit, 22 May 1739, by order of 7 May. Plaintiffs, Elinor Betty widow of Charles Betty late of Cashel, Co. Sligo, gent., decd, and John Betty, James Betty, Thomas Betty, Charles Betty, and Elinor Betty children of said Charles Betty all minors under 21 by said Ellinor their mother; Samuel Camster and Mary his wife formerly Mary Betty wife of George Betty late of Tullycushinbegg, Co. Sligo, gent. decd; and William Betty, Bridget Betty, and Francis Betty children of said George Betty all minors under 21 by said Mary Camster their mother; sheweth. That said Charles Betty being seized in fee simple absolute of a moiety of 12 acres of land in Tullycushinmore and a moiety of the town and lands of Tullycushinbegg aforesaid and also intitled (sic) to a moiety of the town and lands of Carriginegawn under a lease of 3 lives renewable for ever made by Col. John Irwin to Mary Betty his mother, and by her conveyed to said Charles and George Betty her sons, he the sd Charles Betty did by articles dated 9 Oct. 1721 made previous to the marriage of said Chas Betty with Plt. Elinor Betty als (sic) Robbins whereby he did covenant to settle said lands to the use of himself for life, and after his death same to be charged with a jointure for Plt. Elinor, with remr to his eldest son and his heirs, with remr to George Betty his brother for life and then to his heirs male, with several remainders over; and reserved power to charge said lands with portions for his younger children. That said, George Betty being also seized in fee simple absolute of the other moiety of said lands of Tullycushinbegg and of a moiety of Carriginegawn did by articles executed upon his marriage with Plt. Mary covenant to charge sd lands with a jointure for Plt. Mary, remr (sic) to his heirs male, remr (sic) to his brother Charles Betty and his heirs male, with several other remainders over, and reserved power to himself to charge sd lands with portions for his younger children. That said Charles and George Betty are both since dead
