January 12, 1745. Indented Lease. John Beatty of Town and County of Monaghan & Richard Donaldson of Posseckstown, Co. Meath leased to Richard Filgate of Lysceny, Co. Louth, Gent. the lands of Ballyloughan & Little Ash & part of the lands of Castlering (about 272 acres) situated in the Manor of Castlering and Co. of Louth. Lease for the lives of Ann Wiggin, Richard Filgate & William Filgate, eldest son of Alexander Filgate in Lysceny, Co. Louth. Yearly rent 10 shillings per acre. Witnesses: Rt. Hon. Wm. Graham of Rattin, Co. Meath, Esq, Ann Wiggin & Walter Glascock of City of Dublin. Memorial is also witnessed by Thomas Killen of City of Dublin. Registered February 19, 1747. |
