June 29 & 30 1756. For six hundred pounds John Beatty of the Town & County of Monaghan granted to Brabazon Noble of Donemine, Co. Monaghan the lands of Cottell & Carrickmullan in the manor of Castlering, Co. Louth. Lease is for the “natural life and lives of John Beatty, Hugh Beatty & Sophia Beatty sons & daughters of the said John Beatty” for the remainder of the term of 31 years. There is a condition of Redemption if the sum of £600 is repaid. Witnesses: John Watt of Town & County of Monaghan, Innkeeper & John Cramer servant of Brabazon Noble. Registered July 19, 1756. |
