December 17, 1756; John Beatty of the Town and County of Monaghan, Gent. demised to Henry Lennon of Carrick Mullan, in the Manor of Castlering, Co. of Louth “all that part of the Land now in the said Henry Lennons possession & in the possession of Bryan Callidig..” Land is about 32 acres and is in the Manor of Castlering and Co. of Louth. Lease is for 31 years at a rent of 16 shillings per acre “provided the lives in the original lease of the premises so long subsist.” Witnesses: John Beatty of Castleshean, Co. Monaghan & Patrick Henratty of Aishmore, Co. Louth. Memorial is also witnessed by Peter Magloin of the City of Dublin. |
