September 15, 1746; James Beatty of Clownish in County of Monaghan, Gent. devised unto William Hamilton of Newry, County of Downe, Merchant, tenement late in the possession of James Moore, Merchant in the Town of Newry also land in the possession of James Blair, Merchant, situate in Lisdrumgullion, County of Armagh or Downe. James Beatty stipulated that at the death of Wm. Hamilton he would make a new lease to the heir of Wm. Hamilton and also James Beatty stated at the death of any of the lives in the lease he would insert a new life at the same rate agreed upon. Witnesses: John McCannon, Merchant; Robert Thopmson, Apothecary and George Walker, No. Public, all of City of Dublin. Recorded May 1, 1772. |
