January 20, 1770; between John Beaty (sic) of Lismore, County of Longford, Gent. and Alexander Pringle of Ballihue & Thomas Carson of Crogan, both of the County of Cavan. "Whereby the said John Beaty for and in consideration of the marriage already had & solemnized between the said John Beaty and Jane Beaty otherwise Carson his wife and for and in consideration of two hundred pounds ster. to him in hand paid by the Rev'd George Carson father to said Jane as the marriage portion of the said Jane Beaty otherwise Carson" grants to Alexander Pringle and Thomas Carson lands of Bawncully, Longford County, land under lease of 3 lives or thirty one years granted by William Mitchell of Hemmingford, Great Britain. Land to be used by John Beatty during his life and rents reserved for Jane Beaty and issue of marriage after John Beaty's death; if marriage has no issue land to revert to Alexander Pringle and Thomas Carson.
