A Memorial of a Deed Poll bearing date the Seventeenth day of September one thousand seven hundred and Seventy four and made by John Beatty of Brookborough in the County of Fermanagh whereby in Consideration of Seventy pounds Ster. To him paid and for debts paid by John Armstrong of Linaskea in s'd county he the s'd John Beatty granted bargained and sold unto the s'd John Armstrong his Exer's, Adm'rs & Ass'ns all household furniture goods and Chattles of every kind & sort whatsoever in the Schedule List thereunto annexed ment'd are as follows to Wit, Two Cows, two Horses, one yellow bed on field Do one Desk, Do, one Do lined, with boards three feather beds and bedding, one large Press, one Lowboy, four tables and twelve chairs and all the debts due him by Bill Book or otherwise. To hold all and Singular the s'd Goods and Chattles in s'd Schedule bargained and sold to the s'd John Armstrong his heirs, Exr's, Adm'rs and Ass'ns for ever which s'd Deed contains other matters and was duly Executed by the s'd John Beatty in the Presence of James Beatty of Aghamore and James Armstrong of Arnaculea both in the s'd County of Fermanagh Gent and this Mem'l was duly Executed by the s'd John Armstrong in the presence of the s'd James Beatty and Jno. Harrison of the town and County of Monaghan Gent. John Armstrong (Seal) Signed & Sealed in the presence of James Beatty J'n Harrisons the above named Jam's Beatty maketh oath that he is a Subs'g witness to the Deed pole of which the above writing is a Mem'l and that he saw the same duly signed Sealed and Executed by the s'd John Beatty and Saith he also saw the above named John Beatty and saith he also saw the above named John Armstrong duly sign seal and Execute the above Mem'l and that the Names James Beatty subscribed to the s'd Deed and Mem'l is this Deponent's proper handwriting. James Beatty Sworn before me this 21st day of October 1774 at Monaghan in the County of Monaghan by virtue of a Common to me directed and I know James Beatty of Clones in the County Monaghan Gent who knows the Depot.
