To my very good friend Rev. Mr. Ralph Gratton 25 guineas to buy a ring
To my friend and partner Mr. Wm. Gratton 15 guineas to buy a ring.
To Mr. Wm. Gowan 10 guineas
I desire John Bowden to be employed as clerk to settle the partnership between Mr. Wm. Gratton and me, and if he does said business to the satisfaction of my exors I leave him £8 above his wages
Residue of my fortune to my father Mr Thomas Dudgeon and appoint Rev. Mr. Ralph Gratton and Mr. Wm. Gratton and Mr. Wm. Gowan to be exors
