was issued an elegit in Hilary Term 2 Q.Anne [1703] directed to the Sheriff of co. Cavan, upon which an inquisition was taken, the jury having been summoned by Thomas Fleming, Esq. then High Sheriff of co. Cavan, and the following lands were found to be the estate in fee of Robert Craige, Viz: the town and lands of Aghabane, Aghnecreery, Mullaghdolackan, and Drumleragh, Adraghreligh, Aglacurr, Arlogher, and Mill, Boliora, Cleragh, Clonkeen, Cornicreem, Cornilaw and Drumlyster, Curryderan, Dynynorry, Coured and Drumbulliam, Carrymagher, and Loughnifians, Clothran, and mill, Drumgalrusk, Dring, and Ardlogher, Derrylane, Drymhiskill, Dremenie and Derry Duneell, Dryneny, Graves, Drumpart, Drumcarbagh, Greentigreganis, Kelagh, Kilygorman, Kilygon and Drumberis, Kern six poles, Kilneskellan, Laugkin, Drumnecrow, Makeve, Makeen, Mullaghamullan, Mullaghdoe, Port-Camfield, Lallaghorn, the two Ternnallys and Tullyalt, all situate in co. Cavan, and the High Sheriff delivered actual possession of said land to Thomas Quin and all the tenants, Viz: John Beaty, John Tremble, John Eliot, Willliam Johnston, Marmaduke Read, George Mavity, John Cranston, James Long, William Anderson, Anthony McKernan, Ferrell McKernan, William Clendening, William Harkness, Edmond Reily, James MCleland, Robert Henderson, James Irvine, James Browne, Conner Gormely, James Craige, Jonathan Threpleton, Hugh Davis, John Baxter, Mathew Lindsay, George Denistown, John Graves, James Tremble, John Little, Andrew Little, Robert Ferris, Edmond McMullan, Duncan McMullan, James Barry, Daniel Shanors, Alexander Kenedy, Thomas Sutton, Mrs French, Thomas Colan, Edmond McKernan, Phelony McKernan, Amos O Neele, Miles Reily, Edmund Murphy, Thady Mckernan, John Scot, Patti Frizell, Patrick O Cracken, John Ferris, John Mcmarne, Robert Berry, Edward Wiggins, Mathew Blakley, William Wright James MClelland, Robert Fleming, David Fleming, Feral McKernan, & John Baxter, did attoen? tenants to said lands to Thomas Quin to whom they according paid their rents. That said elegit issued in the name of Thomas Quin was in trust for John Forbes of the city of Dublin apothecary, and the rents received by the agent appointed by Forbes or Quin (as per annexed schedule) continued for two years, and Quin was in quiet possession and was landlord to said tenants for said two years. That John Forbes requiring his money, and Plt. having an incumbrance on said estate subsequent to said judgement, and Plt. finding Thomas Quin and John Forbes in actual possession of said rents, Plt proposed to purchase the interest of Thomas Quin and John Forbes therein (as per annexed schedule); and accordingly a tripartite indenture was executed between said Thomas Quin of city of Dublin, Alderman of 1st part, John Forbes of city of Dublin, apothecary of 2nd part; and Plt. James Kennedy of city of Dublin, gent of 3rd part, dated 17 May 1704, Whereby Quin and Forbes conveyed their interest in said estate of Plt. and they gave Plt. a list of the tenants and the rents they paid as per
