James Bettie of Lisnasure, parish Magheralin, Co. Down, farmer, being very sick:
To my well beloved wife, Elizabeth, whom I appoint sole extr. all my goods, chattels, debts, and sum of money due me whatsoever.

James Beatie of Ballikeel, - Edenagonnell, parish Crumlin, alias Hillsborough, Co. Down.
To be buried in the graveyard at Annahilt.
To my well beloved wife Agnes all possessions I have in leases, goods and chattles for her life or widowhood, and if she dies same equally among my unmarried children; and if my wife Agnes shall marry again, I leave her an equal proportion with my said children.
To each of my married children 1/~.
Upon the death of my wife Agnes or upon her marriage the house and garden with one rood of Moss now in possession of Thomas Kelchy to my eldest son Richard Beatie, he paying there out to my son Thomas Beatie 4/~ per annum during the lease thereof .
Also, upon the death or marriage of my wife, Agnes, all benefited priviledges of my leases to my sons James, William, Henry and John Beatie, excepting what my eldest son Richard Beatie hath now in his possession; and I hereby leave to my said eldest son Richard Beatie that parcel of ground now in his possession.
Appoint my well beloved wife Agnes Beatie and my eldest son Richard Beatie exors.
