To my beloved wife Jane Diniston, alias Price my dwelling house and garden and half the park in Mullagh Monaghan for her widowhood, and a moiety of my meadow fields at the lands of Tully, all in the parish & co. of Monaghan for her widowhood all the rest of a pepper corn and two cows, a horse and my household goods, my working tools excepted which I give to my son John Deninton. Upon the death of my wife half the said household furniture and the other half which is not bequeathed to her to my children (Elinor Deninton alias Bailiff being excepted because I have already provided for her on her marriage with Robert Bailiff, and she is only to get 5/~) Also to my said wife £30. To my son Robert £30 when 21. To my daughters Jane and Anne £40 each when 21. To my beloved son John Deninton all my freeholds and £5 which is in the hands of Mr. John Beatty of Monaghan which is to be at his pleasure to dispose of as he shall think fit to the daughters of Rev. Mr. Thomas McBlaine by his first wife whose names are Anne, Jane and Elizabeth. My wife Jane and son John to be Exors. Appoint Mr. Francis Bathersby, Mr. James Adams of Monaghan, Merchants and Mr. John Sims of Monaghan, farmer to be trustees and overseers. 1 leave £1 to the poor of parish of Monaghan.
