my eldest son William Betty she shall have such at her election so to do besides the profits of her house in Dorset Street now in the occupation of Alexander McMullen or her annuity payable by her daughter Anne Betty in lieu of said rent and her debentures in the 6% Grand Canals, which house or annuity in lieu thereof and said debentures have already been settled on her. Also I add for her use two more of said debentures of £25 each in said Grand Canals for pocket money and she shall also have the use of my dwelling house in Rutland Square if she choose to reside there, and the furniture, plate, coach, horses, jaunting car, wines & c. and I strongly recommend to my children till they are respectively married or settled in the world to live with their mother in harmony and affection together, and each to contribute to keep the house in repair and upkeep; and the following yearly sums shall be paid during the life of their mother for such upkeep, viz; by my daughters, Maria and Anne Betty £100 a year to their mother till they are married for their maintenance, as I have already provided for each of them in Irish Bank Stock of £2,000 each, and £1,000 in 6% Grand Canal loan debentures each, and £1,000 in Grand Canal Stock each, and the profits of a house in Dorset Street, which last mentioned house is for pocket money for them, that is I compute £7,000 to each already settled on them on account of their prudence and exemplary conduct and attention to their mother in the series of years of extreme bad health and also of their kind and dutiful conduct towards myself, and should they not reside with their mother they shall pay £50 to their mother.
My eldest son Wm. Betty to contribute £140 to the expense of my house in case he shall live with his mother.
My other son James to contribute towards said expenses £100 a year, and half said sum if he does not live with his mother.
I order that the right and provisions already made for my dear wife out of all my real estate consisting of said lands of Gartnacanigg, barony of Tullaha, co. Cavan, Deygans, Crossrea and Drumorhan in the manor of BallyLoise, my houses in Moor Street, in Moor Lane, and Off Lane, all of which I am now seized of in fee simple, and the following lands which I hold quasi in fee, viz: said proportion of the lands of Killsob; and also the lands of Rathnegew and Ballyedmund near Hacketstown, Co. Carlow, and lands of Kilmuny, Co. Wicklow, near Newtowns Mount Kennedy, and lands of Gibbinstown, baroney of Kilcullen, Co. Kildare, and my house in Rutland Square, of which last mentioned lands and house I am seized by lease of lives renewable for ever, and my houses in the Southside of Abbey Street, together with warehouses, graneries, stables, & c. in the ___ thereof extending to Byrnes Lane, of which I am seized by fee farm lease for all, to my friends William Humphreys of Gardiners Row, Esq. And Perrott Thornton of Greenville, Co. Cavan, Esq. on trust, viz: as to said lands of Gartnacanegg, Deggan, Drumoorhan, Crossrea, my said proportion of Kilsob constituting Ennis land, Ulsich?, Ward's land, Baliboy, and the Logaris part of Mullaghmore, my said lands of Rathngreen and Ballyedmund, my house in Rutland Square, & houses in Moore Street, Moore Lane and Off Lane
