L. & Mary Lawder otherwise Beatty his wife & Anne Beatty a minor, by sd E. her mother & next friend, all of Rackconnell in the county of Monoghan, state that Thomas Trewman, of Brackey, Co. Armagh, Gent. dated his will 7 Aug. 1761 & left by his will £400 to your supplt. Elizabeth. He died in 1762. Thomas Trewman his son. His widow Mary Trewman left 100 to your supplt. Elizabeth. Dudley Blyke Trewman was eldest son of sd Thos & Mary. Sophia Beatty married William Adams of Newgrove, Co. Monaghan, marriage deed dated 30 Jany 1768.

John Beatty, 2nd son of Peter Beatty late of Coolaharty, Co. Longford, Gent. deceased and Dorcas Beatty, only dau of sd Peter, minors under 21, by James Dowling of the City of Dublin, Esq. and Jane D. otherwise Beatty, wife of the said James and mother of your said supplts. State that Peter Beatty married Jane, only dau of Galbraith Holmes, of Ballinlough, Co. Longford, Esq., Marriage settlements dated 12 May 1763 between the said Peter B. of the 1st part, the sd G. H. & his sd dau. Jane of 2nd part Andrew Armstrong of Gallen in the Kings Co. Esquire & Peter Metge of Athlumney, Co. Meath, Esq. of 3rd part, Thomas Crofton of Culleen, Co. Westmeath, Esq. & Wm. Harkness of Corr, Co. Cavan, Gent. of 4th part, John Cooke of city of Dublin, Alderman of 5th part & Peter Thompson, of Cloonfin, Co. Longford Gent of 6th part. Marr. Portion £1000. The marriage took place and there were issue now living of sd marriage: Robert, the eldest son & your supplt. John & Dorcas the only living? children. Peter Beatty, your supplt’s father, died 5 March 1778, leaving his widow Jane enceinte of a female child, who was afterwards born & has since died. Peter’s will dated 1 March 1778, Thomas Burrows of Fernsbough, Co. Longford sole exr. & gdn to children.
Note to above. Lord Oxmantsen (?) brought a Chancery Bill 9 Feb. 1793 against Robert Beatty, John Beaty, Dorcas Beatty & Wm. Harkness, amended 23 Nov. 1796 by changing Dorcas Beatty into Thomas Walsh & Dorcas his wife. Answer Walsh & wife 13 May 1797.
Thos. Walsh & Dorcas his wife brought a Chancery Bill 5 April 1796, against T. Burrows, John Beatty, Robt. Holmes, Jas. Dowling, Andrew Armstrong & Peter Metge. Amended 26 May 1797 by inserting Lord Oxmorton’s (?) name.
