Marriage settlement dated 1 Nov 1804, whereby Joseph Beatty of Rooskey, Co. Tyrone, in conson. of the marriage portion of £150 with his wife Anne McMahon, did bind himself to Agnes McMahon, widow and Moses McMahon, both of Glencrue, Co. Tyrone, to pay sd Anne McMahon, a jointure of £6 per ann. Charged on the lands of Rooskey, which lands Joseph Beatty held by lease made for ever to him by his father.

Wexford, gent. the Mill of Ballycanew, with the dwelling house and piece of ground called the Mount adjoining sd mill, also a piece of land adjoining the town of Ballycanew, also that part of the lands of Ballycanew formerly in occupation of Ptk McLaughlin & Thomas Harding containing 24a. 2r. 18p., bounded on one side by Ballycanew street, on the other side by Martin & Frances Nowland’s lands, on another side by the river, and on another side by James Nowland’s and John Waring;s lands; all situate in the barony of Gorey, Co. Wexford. To hold from 25 March last for the life of sd John Jones, and of sd Thomas Jones and of Edward Jones brother to Thomas, at £70 rent.

Marriage settlement dated 4 January 1805, between Robert Beatty son of Claudius Beatty of Woteraghy, co. Cavan, gent., deceased, and Claudius Beatty (second son of said Robert Beatty) of co. Longford, Esq. of the 1st part; McVitty Moore of Cartron Lodge, co. Longford, Esq., and Anne Moore his eldest daughter of the 2nd part; George Beatty of Lismoy, co. Longford, Esq., grandfather of sd Anne Moore of the 3rd part; and Rev. George Crawford of Cottage, co. Longford, Clke, of the 4th part. Reciting that said Robert Beatty is seized in fee of the farm of Drumcon. That a marriage is to be had between said Claudius Beatty and Anne Moore, whose marriage portion is £500. That Robert Beatty in cons. of sd marriage portion released to George Beatty and George Crawford said farm of Drumcon situate in the barony of Tullyhunco, Co. Cavan, and also a part of the lands of Corry. To hold in trust for said Claudius Beatty and to secure a jointure of £50 yearly for Anne Moore charged thereon.
