Prerogative Will
Francis Beatty of Mary’s Abbey, city of Dublin, Tayler.
To my son Francis Beatty1/- for his disobedience to me on several occasions.
To my son John Beatty, My daughter Sara Whitehead, my daughter Jane Henshall, my daughter Elizabeth King, my daughter Ann Smith, and my daughter Rebeca Burton 5/- each, as I have already provided for them.
To my grandson Edmond Whitehead a suit of clothes every year till he is 14.
Residue of my fortune whatsoever to my loving wife Margret Battey
And my daughter Margret Battey equally; my wifes gold watch and rings and the luster diamond ring in her possession excepted to be the property of my said wife Margaret Bettey.
The lease of my house in Marys’ Abbey to be sold, also my house hold furniture, plate and linen: also my pew I have in St Mary’s church, all for the benefit of my wife Margret Beatty and my daughter Margret Beatty equally.
I appoint my wife Margret Beatty, my son-in-law Robert Burton, and William- Warren of Liffey, street, glazier, to be exors.
