                The schedule consists of a long list of payments made by Plt. for Edward Ellis; among the names to where payments made by Plt. occur the names of John Rogers, Ian? Adams, Hector Graham, Esq., Rev. Plantiff Charles Magauran of the city of dublin, a protestant of the Church of Ireland sheweth.  That Plt on 22 May 1753 exhibited his original bill in the Court against Mary Magauran, Ferrell Magauran, her, Robert Beatty, Wm O. Bryan, and others, setting forth, inter alia that Bryan Magauran late of Straloghan, co. Leitrim, gent about 1734 agreed with Thomas Bell the elder of Le begg?, co. Wicklow, Esq. for a fee farm lease of the town and land of Tonemore and park adjoining thereto known by the name of the Broom Park, situate in the barony of Granard, co. Longford, at £41 rent and for the consideration of the sum of £300.  That Bryan Magauran was a Papist and thereby disqualified to accept such a lease, and in order to elude the Acts of Parliament prevailed on Thomas Ball to execute the lease to James Kirkwood late of [      ], co. Cavan, gent, deceased, a Protestant in trust for him which Thomas Ball accordingly did in March 1734 and executed a lease to said James Kirkwood in trust for said Bryan Magauran or for Andrew Magauran, deceased, (his elder son then an infant but bred up a Protestant) and his Protestant heirs.  That Andrew Magauran having died in France during the lifetime of Bryan Magauran and Plt. being his next Protestant heir, said Bryan Magauran dreading some one would sue said land on said Act of Parliament died in 1750 prevail on Plt. to convey his title to the lease to said Robert Beaty an Protestant (who was then named a fare? trustee in said conveyance for the benefit of Bryan Magauran his wife and children who were all Papists).  That Bryan Magauran to the time he died in January 1750 and Mary his widow since that time have rec'd
