said legacies to abate in proportion; and if amounts are more what remains are to go equally between my last legatees.
I appoint my beloved wife Mary Bettey if she marry again to have no more than 5 pounds 5 shillings; and her part equally to my sons Mathew and William Bettey; and also in case my son John Bettey should marry he is to have said half of Drumdarge together with half the houses on said land.
If my said daughter Rebecca Bettey, and Ann Bettey should marry without consent they to get no more than 5/5.
I appoint Samuel Bettey of Letton and John Wherry of Doon to be executors

On 31 July 1767 Mary Betty the widow of said John Betty the son of James Betty, deceased, sworn to execute the will (Samuel Betty and John Wherry the executors having renounced). Before Thomas Hastings, V.G. Indorsed: "The last Will and Testament of James Betty late of Drumdarge in the parish of Inniskillen and Diocese of Clogher deceased. Dated March 25th 1766"

Nuncupative Will. Whereas on 8 February 1674 Edmond Besty late of Tubbertantogh? parish of Aghavour, county Mayo, diocese of Tuam, yeoman, declared his nuncupative will in the presence of Darrel Hymn?, Katherine Dillon, Robert Dillon, Daniel Kraversay, and Katherine Trussy, as follows: all his goods, chattels and debts whatsoever he gave to his wife Sara Ny Dermott alias Besty she being then with child, and to his only son Bryan Besty [The will is only a copy so that one has not the original will to scrutinise the surname--PC]
Clogher Will:
William Beatty of Aghamarmai/Aghamore parish of Aughalurcher county Fermanagh. To be buried in the church yard of Aughalurcher.
To my dearly beloved wife Ann 260 pounds to be paid to her within 5 years and to bear interest at 5% till paid.
To my two sons Robert and John 102 pounds each when 21 or upon their respective marriages, and to bear interest at 5% till paid; and in case the lease of Killniacran [Killnacran] is renewed by my executors same to be renewed in their names.
To my two daughters Ann and Jane, i.e. firstly to my daughter Ann 120 pounds and secondly to my daughter Jane 140 pounds when 21 or upon their marriage to bear interest at 5% till paid.
To my son James 20 pounds and a bay filly which I lately gave him, same to be paid when he is 21.
